Our Roots
Stolzenburg Harvesting started in 1933 when Jack Stolzenburg and his brothers, Harry and Ralph, brought the first pull-type combine from Cloud County to southern Kansas, sparking a proud family legacy that continues today. Jack's sons, George and Gene, grew up running combines and trucks. They eventually launched their own harvesting crews, continuing the Stolzenburg legacy.
In 1972, George married Mary Branick of Renville, MN. Their children Lynette, Ann, and Daniel were operating combines by age seven and soon hauling grain to the elevator.
Currently George and Daniel are running the business, with 3 late model Case IH combines, Macdon headers, International semi trucks, tractor and grain cart and supporting equipment. The wheat harvest starts in Oklahoma goes to North Dakota and finishes with fall harvest in South Dakota.
